Professional Galaxy is looking for an experienced systems engineer for a long-term assignment with our client in the defense industry. The assignment involves technically advanced radio-based systems with high demands on reliability and collaboration. Here, you will work on projects with both technical breadth and depth, and become part of a competent team focused on innovation and delivery.

About the assignment As a systems engineer, you will contribute to the development and integration of technical system solutions in areas such as tactical radio, satellite communication, and EMC. The work involves cross-functional collaboration across sections and projects, requiring both technical understanding and the ability to see the overall picture of the systems.

You will receive support from an experienced mentor but are also expected to take responsibility for your tasks, make technical decisions, and deliver quality results. The role is suitable for you who have a strong commitment, are curious about new technology, and appreciate working in structured yet dynamic environments.

Requirements To succeed in this assignment, we see that you have:

An engineering degree (Master's or Bachelor's) or equivalent work experience Previous experience with radio technical systems, preferably related to defense operations The ability to work structured and independently in projects A strong collaborative ability and a willingness to learn new technical areas At least two of the following technical competencies besides radio:

Overall system architecture Requirements management for customized and product-based systems Requirements interpretation EMC System development Product development Satellite communication Tactical radio Integration, testing, and verification
