We now welcome you as a nursing assistant to our cozy nursing home, Vaxholm Nursing Home.

In the role of nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will work to provide good care, service, and support to our residents. Forenede Care Vaxholm Nursing Home consists of three properties with a total of 83 apartments spread over seven units. Five units are intended for individuals with cognitive impairments. The facility is located close to green areas and good transport links. It takes about 40 minutes by bus from central Stockholm and about an hour by Vaxholm boat.

In the position of nursing assistant, you will work with care and support based on the client's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You will assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, respond to alarms, and provide social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on outings, cycling, or finding fun activities to do together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several part-time nursing assistants for permanent positions with a probationary period.

Start date: By agreement.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

We also consider previous experience in elderly care and dementia care as an advantage.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
