We are looking for a caring and experienced nursing assistant with a warm heart and a genuine commitment to people. In this role, the daily care work in home care is combined with a special responsibility for emergency alarms.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you play a central role in our customers' lives. Your tasks vary according to each individual's needs, but may include:

• Personal care - assisting with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing.

• Social support & conversation - creating security through presence, conversation, and care.

• Supervision & support as needed – providing support during, for example, transfers, meals, and other situations that require extra attention, as well as contributing to making the customer's daily life easier.

• Documentation - carefully documenting the support and care you provide, in accordance with assistance decisions and implementation plans.

• Emergency alarms – quickly responding to urgent needs from customers who have triggered alarms. We work on behalf of Österåker Municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:30. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.

In addition, you will have extended responsibilities:

• Emergency alarms – being responsible for the management and follow-up of emergency alarms, including ensuring that the alarms function, following up on actions, and assisting colleagues with alarm-related work.

We are looking for someone who shares our view that care is done with the heart – and who also wants to contribute to structure and safety in the team. To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• Nursing assistant education – you have a recognized education and preferably previous experience working in home care.

• Fluent in Swedish – you speak and write fluent Swedish and have a good ability to document according to current routines.

• B driver's license – you are a safe and experienced driver, which is required in our work with customers.

• Bicycle experience - you are a confident cyclist.

• Responsible & stress-resistant – you see the big picture, plan your work, take initiative, and handle pressured situations calmly and decisively.

• Independent & collaborative – you enjoy working independently but are happy to collaborate with colleagues when the situation requires it.

• Empathetic & communicative – you have a genuine desire to help, are attentive to different needs, and find it easy to communicate with both customers and colleagues.

• Flexible, solution-oriented & meticulous – you are used to a changing work environment, work structured with a high quality awareness, and take responsibility for your work.

• Digitally skilled – you have experience using mobile phones and documenting in digital systems.

Working hours: Monday – Friday (07:15-15:30) Employment rate: 80-100% Employment: permanent, with a 6-month probationary period. Location: you will be based at our office in Åkersberga and the work takes place within Österåker Municipality.
