Ersta Hospital is part of Ersta Diakoni and is Sweden's largest non-profit hospital with a clear value base – to see the whole person. For 175 years, we have provided healthcare in Södermalm, Stockholm, but we receive patients from all over the country. Here we offer high-quality, specialized healthcare with both breadth and expertise. We are a university hospital unit and conduct research, education, and development in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet. We are growing to help more, and since 2023, the hospital's capacity has tripled, and eight new operations have started.

The geriatric clinic consists of three geriatric care wards, a specialized rehabilitation department, and a cognitive reception. The specialized geriatric care at Ersta Hospital is characterized by a holistic view of the person that encompasses all aspects of life. The team consists of doctors, nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, and administrators with high competence in geriatric care.

About the role

As a dietitian with us, you are an important part of the interdisciplinary team and actively participate in rounds and daily collaboration with other professional categories. You are responsible for individual nutritional assessment, nutritional treatment and counseling, as well as prescribing dietary supplements and enteral nutrition.

Your duties also include revising and developing written dietary materials and contributing information and education on nutrition to colleagues in the team.

The position involves rotation between the geriatric clinic and specialized rehabilitation, providing you with varied work and broad clinical experience.

Your experience

We are looking for a licensed dietitian. Previous experience from geriatric or somatic inpatient care or primary care rehabilitation is an advantage.
