Part-time IT Support Position for Students

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is a Swedish publicly traded company that provides business and trading systems to its partners across the Nordic region. The IT department currently has eight employees responsible for managing IT operations and support. We are now looking for a student for a part-time position, with an employment rate of approximately 50%. The position will require availability for about 3–5 half-days a week, where you will work one of the following three shifts:

• 07:00-13:00
• 12:00-17:00
• 17:00-22:00

You will be introduced to the tasks by experienced colleagues to gradually become independent in the role. This position is suitable for you who have a genuine interest in IT and are eager to learn and develop further. During the shifts you work, you will be at the office in Östermalm, so it is important to have easy access to the location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Continuously manage external support for the company's trading system and related systems, as well as tasks related to IT Operations according to directives from the immediate supervisor
• Software management (installing and upgrading/updating software)
• Participate in troubleshooting of the trading system and its related systems
• Assist with internal IT support at the office

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Are currently studying at a university/college in IT
• Have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Have experience in customer support/helpdesk within IT and knowledge of ITIL process flow (incident management)
• It is a merit if you have experience in scripting or programming (PHP, Python, BASH, as well as knowledge in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• It is also a merit if you have an interest in the Swedish financial market and securities trading
