We are urgently looking for a handyman for Österlen's largest hotel with roots dating back to the 1840s.

Hotel Svea is located by the sea in central Simrishamn on beautiful Österlen, surrounded by wonderful nature and a vibrant cultural life. We are a privately owned hotel with 62 hotel rooms, a restaurant, a garden bar, and seven meeting rooms, and we are part of the Best Western hotel chain with over 150 hotels in Scandinavia. Svea is open year-round.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop Svea together with us. You are ambitious and have a passion for craftsmanship and service. You are a team player. As a handyman, you will be a key person in our operations and responsible for daily practical tasks such as maintaining the hotel. You will work independently and be responsible for a range of tasks, including maintenance of buildings and technical systems. Repairing and addressing minor damages. Actively participating in preventive maintenance and contributing to our environmental efforts. You have experience in practical maintenance work. Good technical understanding of property management such as plumbing and electrical work.

We have 62 rooms spread over 3 floors. Restaurant Piraten, our historic restaurant and dining room, is a cornerstone of the hotel's operations with seating for 120 guests. The restaurant also includes a bar area. Our guests are both local residents and visiting tourists, business travelers, conference groups, and for special occasions. In addition to the main dining room, we also have a highly appreciated Garden Bar where we serve lighter dishes and have seating for 130 guests during the summer.
