The Role of Sports Facility Technician with Us

The position of Sports Facility Technician involves supervision, operation, and property maintenance in the municipality's ice and swimming halls as well as Kungsbacka Sports Hall.

The contact points are many, both internally and externally, such as with municipal employees, residents, and also with customers who rent our facilities. You will therefore manage the daily operations, with an individual area of responsibility.

Your Daily Tasks Include:

• Operation of Kungsbacka's swimming facilities and Fjäråsbadet
• Operation of Kungsbacka's ice and sports hall
• Property and facility maintenance
• Management of the properties' operational systems

Your Profile

You are a person with strong drive and the ability to work independently. You take your own initiatives and work independently to achieve set goals. You value collaboration and find it easy to create good working relationships. Your accommodating and service-oriented attitude means that you always strive to meet both colleagues' and customers' needs in the best way possible. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• has relevant experience in property maintenance, technical installations, water processes, and/or mechanical-related tasks
• has a B driver's license with a manual transmission

It is advantageous if you have:

• knowledge in control and regulation through experience
• experience from service professions with customer-oriented property technician services
• relevant experience working in various facilities such as swimming pools, ice rinks, and sports halls

You will belong to Kungsbacka Sports Center. We are responsible for the operation and maintenance for customers at the municipality's two ice rinks as well as the operation and maintenance of the technology for water purification at the municipality's two indoor swimming pools and Kungsbacka Sports Hall. This also includes service to the associations that rent these facilities from the Cultural & Leisure Administration.

We collaborate and utilize digitalization in a smarter way, so we develop our competencies within our operational systems and innovate to develop the business together with other units.

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with placement according to agreement.

You will work shifts, which means that in addition to weekdays, you will also work evenings and weekends.
