Background

A new central initiative within OHS is the Evening Expedition – an operation that offers organized evening activities for children and youth in Helsingborg, focusing on leadership development and social security. Homework assistance has been in place since its inception in 2016 and has doubled over the past year to include over 200 children per week. We conduct school training in the afternoons, have a para-handball team, and offer activities during all school breaks.

Main Responsibilities

The project manager's main task is the overall operational responsibility for the Evening Expedition. As a sub-task, you will be part of the growing homework assistance program that helps over 200 children with their homework each week. The role involves both strategic and practical work, focusing on planning, collaboration, leadership, recruitment, and development of the operations in cooperation with others in the organization.

• Plan, lead, and follow up on the Evening Expedition
• Report continuously to the operational manager and be responsible for documentation and project administration
• Collaborate with schools, authorities, civil society, and other local actors
• Work closely with the sports leader in the operational implementation of the Evening Expedition's activities
• Recruit and mentor young leaders in the project
• Regarding Homework Assistance – participate in the recruitment of volunteers and provide support
• Drive and follow up on work with inclusion and safety within OHS
• Participate in the club's events and assist with administrative tasks as needed, as well as perform other tasks in the association as agreed

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, preferably within the non-profit sector, youth activities, or social work. Alternatively, experience working in schools, e.g., as a teacher or leisure educator
• Familiarity with collaborating with schools, authorities, and associations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Good administrative skills, e.g., budgeting and reporting
• Ability and willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends

To succeed in this position, we prefer that you have experience living or working in a multicultural context and that you have an understanding of different cultures and backgrounds. Having worked within associations or in safety-promoting activities is considered an asset. As a person, you drive your work with high engagement and are passionate about leading projects. You are responsible, results-oriented, structured, and organized. You have the ability to work proactively and can work cross-functionally in a changing environment. You are a team player with good communication skills.

Conditions

• Start date: October/November 2025
• Scope: 100% position, permanent
• Working hours: Daytime, but some work in the evenings and weekends
• Location: OV Office, Helsingborg
