About the assignment

Bemannia is now accepting expressions of interest from those who have at least one year of experience as an IT technician! We will be forwarding assignments to organizations within the public sector in various locations in Västra Götaland. As a consultant with us, you will receive a fixed-term employment, which means you will be employed for the assignment we match you for and that you are interested in!

In the role of IT technician, you will participate in the daily operations and provide support and assistance to users. You will act as a local IT technician primarily working with the operation and development of the organization's local network environment and communication between computers located in the same building. Your tasks will further consist of:

• Working with troubleshooting and assessments on how to best resolve issues
• Participating in the work of managing computer communication, operation, and data security in larger network environments with computers in different locations and also in global networks
• Testing new products and informing users about updates
• Participating in the work of installing and adapting computers that manage communication in the network, such as routers, servers, and workstations
• Working to ensure IT operations are secure (for example, installing firewalls)
• Installing software and adapting it to the network
• Technical support regarding IT equipment in conference rooms, for example, video conferencing systems
• Backup management
• Administering standard systems such as email and calendar
• Administering backup storage and application servers

Your qualifications

• High school or equivalent education
• At least one (1) year of work experience as an IT technician
• Good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security
• Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Knowledge of ticketing systems (for example, Easit GO or ServiceNow)
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish both verbally and in writing

Please note that you must at least meet these requirements, but some positions may have higher requirements regarding education and experience.
