Job Advertisement: Engineer in Information Security

Do you have knowledge in information security or IT security, experience with secure platforms, or do you want to develop your understanding of how we protect systems from cyber threats? Your Role:

You will be part of a team of engineers focused on information security, both internally towards our development departments and externally towards customers.

Prepare for a role where collaboration and the team are in focus, where you participate in a team that collectively supports the business in the field of information security. Also, be prepared to meet customers who impose strict requirements in the area and where we together will meet the customer's needs and fulfill these requirements.

You will participate in the entire development process from the customer's expressed needs regarding information security through implementation to product delivery. You are responsible for planning the information security work in a project and designing the security architecture for our systems. You work closely with product developers, system engineers, and verification engineers.

You will also contribute to developing our entire area of expertise in information security to constantly meet changing intrusion threats and expectations from our customers. This includes strategic work and training.

Your Main Tasks Include:

• Communicating continuously with customers, project managers, system engineers, product leaders, and developers
• Risk and vulnerability analysis
• Requirements breakdown and analysis
• IT security architecture and system design

As support in your work, you have your manager, your closest colleagues in the Information Security team, and the project team you are part of.

Fundamentally, you have relevant technical education, but your experiences and personal qualities weigh heavier than a specific degree. As a person, you are open, social, and unpretentious.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer engineering or equivalent, preferably with focus areas such as cybersecurity, cryptography, network security, and computer security, etc.
• The job requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Work experience in areas such as IT security, information security, system development, software development, risk management.

It is advantageous if you have experience working with:

• Previously involved in development projects
• Experience in verification, subsystem verification
• IT security development according to KSF or equivalent standards
• Design of IT security architecture
• Penetration testing, e.g., CEH

You must also be prepared to travel for work as customers are often located in other countries.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
