Working as an IT Tester

We are looking for a tester for our client in the financial sector who develops digital solutions for mortgages and savings. Here you will have the opportunity to test applications beyond the interface – you will work closely with core banking systems, APIs, and integrations while collaborating with several external parties. Our client is implementing automated tests to a large extent and continues to improve and expand the quantity and has begun the journey towards a CI/CD and DevOps mindset.

You will be part of a smaller test team that works agilely with a focus on quality and delivery. The team has a strong internal culture and collaborates closely with the business and external partners. The team is currently responsible for system tests including regression tests from client to core system where the final check before release is conducted. The team also supports the business in acceptance testing and works with both manual and automated testing. The team works with both new development and maintenance, testing web, mobile apps, integration services, and internal banking systems.

The role is based in Borås with the possibility of hybrid work, so we see that you are located in western Sweden with the ability to be at the office in Borås a few days a week. This is a consulting assignment for an initial 12 months, with the possibility of extension and employment with the client. Desired start is as soon as possible by agreement.  

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant degree from YH or university
• Has at least 2-3 years of work experience in testing, preferably both manual and automated
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English
• As a person, you are communicative and curious
