We are looking for a Senior Project Planner for an assignment in high voltage power transmission and distribution.

Are you an experienced project planner with deep technical understanding and accustomed to leading complex projects? We are now seeking a senior project planner for our client, who is a world leader in products for high voltage power transmission and distribution. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring effective, realistic, and well-coordinated project plans from inception to commissioning.

About the role

As a senior project planner, you will be responsible for developing and establishing fundamental criteria for planning and scheduling engineering projects. You will create project plans, timelines, and status reports, propose actions in case of deviations, and lead the pre-planning work. This includes analysis of scope, work breakdown, quality requirements, quantities, financial and contractual commitments, and responsibility allocation.

You will collaborate with external parties to ensure feasible plans, analyze contractors' progress, and be responsible for scheduling commissioning and startup. The role also includes supporting the project control team in developing the project's performance index. You will work independently, lead complex projects, and act as a mentor for more junior colleagues.

Requirements

Skills and experience

At least 5 years of experience in project planning within technically complex projects

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or energy

Extensive experience with Primavera P6

Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish

Able to work both strategically and operationally

Good collaboration skills and communicative strength
