Bid Manager for an Entrepreneurial Medtech Company

About the Client
The client is a medical technology company focused on gynecology and surgery. About the Position
As a Bid Manager, you will have overall responsibility for public procurements in Sweden (approx. 90%) and Norway (approx. 10%). This involves compiling documentation and submitting bids as well as leading and developing the sales process for public procurements. You will monitor the publication of public procurements and be responsible for analyzing tender documents, ensuring that the client's bids meet the requirements, and submitting competitive and high-quality offers on time. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the client succeeds in their bidding processes. You will analyze the market so that they can proactively approach potential customers before the procurement is published. The role also includes following up on won contracts during the management phase. The work mainly takes place in Sweden and Stockholm. Travel occurs to industry fairs two to three times a year as well as during customer visits and similar. The Bid Manager reports to the CEO.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Analyzing tender documents and identifying business opportunities.
- Planning, leading, and coordinating the bidding process from start to finish.
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure that all requirements and specifications are met.
- Writing and compiling bid documents, including descriptions of our products.
- Ensuring that bids comply with LOU (Public Procurement Act) and other relevant regulations.
- Creating and maintaining a bidding strategy to maximize the chances of winning contracts.
- Conducting post-analysis to continuously improve processes.
About You
We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and communicative. You thrive in a fast-paced role where accuracy and collaboration are crucial. To succeed in this role, it is also important that you have an eye for detail and strong business acumen. You have previous experience in sales through public procurement (LOU) and some form of background or experience in medical technology that gives you good knowledge of the industry. You see it as a positive to drive your own projects and you navigate comfortably within the industry.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with public procurement.
- Good knowledge of LOU and its application.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret tender documents.
- Experience writing and compiling bid documents.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English.
- Good experience working in projects and managing multiple parallel processes.
- Relevant post-secondary education, such as in economics, law, engineering, or project management, is an advantage.
- Driver's license (B)
