We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable specialist nursing assistant who wants to help develop our dementia care. If you are passionate about providing person-centered care and want to lead and inspire your colleagues, this is the position for you. With us, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest possible quality of daily life for our residents with dementia.

Working hours and employment rate: We are now looking for three specialist nursing assistants with a focus on dementia.

Work takes place during daytime, evening, and weekends according to a schedule. Employment rate 80-90%. Salary: According to agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.

Job description

As a nursing assistant at Humana Atlasvägen, you will have a varied job where you plan and implement weekly planning, manage medications, and plan activities. You will document daily and handle any deviations. Together with colleagues, you will distribute tasks and communicate with healthcare staff such as nurses, rehabilitation staff, and on-call nurses.

Examples of tasks:

•  Be the contact person and be responsible for your clients' weekly planning and implementation plan
• Follow up on your clients' weekly planning and implementation plan
• Receive delegation of medication from nurses
• Conduct fun activities
• Handle documents and deviations
• Actively participate in our quality work, for example by working with quality registers such as the BPSD register (Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms in Dementia) and other important follow-ups
• Guide colleagues 

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a team player – a responsible person who enjoys working both independently and in a group. You have the ability to see the whole picture and are not afraid to take initiative. You are used to documentation and work with quality as a guiding principle. Experience in person-centered work is an advantage, and we believe it is important that you are a relationship builder with good collaboration skills and a positive attitude.

We are looking for you who:

•  Are a trained nursing assistant/specialist nursing assistant or have equivalent work experience
• Possess good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Experience working with people with dementia

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in elderly care or home care
• Experience in operations run in private management

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden.
