Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Creo/Windchill – consulting assignment in Lund

Do you have solid experience with Creo, Windchill, and/or Inventor? Do you want to help drive change in a global technology company? We are now looking for a sharp consultant for a larger transformation project within CAD and PDM systems.

About the assignment

The assignment is part of a larger business transformation project where a common working method and new tools are being implemented – including Creo, Inventor, and Windchill. You will be a key person in the central team based in Lund, leading the project from a global perspective. The role involves being the bridge between technology, process, and users.

Your role

As a technical consultant in CAD/PDM, you will:

• Support the work with product structures, templates, and attributes
• Contribute user scenarios and workflows to create a unified working method
• Help develop and improve training materials within CAD/PDM
• Act as a contact person between the development team and the business
• Be an important sounding board in the integration of CAD, PDM, and PLM systems
• Spread a positive attitude towards the change work among end users

Note that Windchill will be adapted during the project – therefore, you need to have a good understanding of processes and a solution-focused mindset.

We are looking for someone who has:

Deep technical knowledge in Creo and preferably also Inventor

Previous experience working with Windchill

A background in mechanical engineering

An interest in systems and processes

Good ability to collaborate and communicate

Extra plus if you have:

Been a super user in Creo or Windchill

Been involved in similar transformation projects before

Practical details about the assignment

• Scope: 100 %

• Start: As soon as possible

• Duration: 1 year, with the possibility of extension

• Location: Lund (with the possibility of remote work 2 days/week after onboarding)

• Travel: May occur (approx. 10–20 %)

• Own equipment: Yes

• Language: English

• Other: Drug test required before start
