Machine Designer

About the position Our Machine Designer is involved in the development projects all the way – from idea generation and design to finished and operational machines. The workdays are eventful, and all production and technology development takes place in-house, providing a unique and inspiring proximity to the entire operation.

You will be responsible for the development and design of machines and machine parts as well as the procurement of these. The machine park ranges from small, fast special machines with high technical content to advanced solutions with electrical and automation control.

You will be part of a team consisting of 5 designers, 4 test engineers, an assembly leader, and hired assemblers. The team is part of our technology development department of about 30 people, where automation engineers and project managers also work closely together. You will report to the Manager of Test & Mechanical Engineering.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • An engineering degree, preferably with a mechanical engineering focus, and/or solid experience in the field

  • Several years of experience in the design and development of production machines within the industry

  • Very good proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM

  • Experience with servo-controlled machines (meritorious)

  • The ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

  • Creative and practically oriented with a structured approach

  • Responsible with a strong drive
