About the Role

As a technical specialist at TePe, you will have a varied day-to-day where you work with troubleshooting and optimization of pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems. You support production, technicians, and project managers with various technical issues and drive improvement projects while assisting with training within the organization. The job also involves participating in projects, supporting the installation and commissioning of equipment, and being responsible for documentation, drawing review, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

You will be an active part of the daily follow-up of the machinery status and work closely with our technicians. By having a deep understanding of both equipment and processes, you can contribute operationally when needed to ensure efficient operations. The role also includes a clear focus on safety work, where you contribute to maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment.

The position is daytime-based, and you report to the Head of Preventive Maintenance.

About You

We are looking for someone with broad technical competence in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Knowledge of control systems/PLC and reading drawings/CAD is an advantage. You have good experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving in complex systems. As a person, you are analytical and structured but also practically oriented. You enjoy working both independently and in teams, have strong problem-solving abilities, and a genuine curiosity for new technology. Your contact points are many, so it is important that you are good at communicating, collaborating, and solving problems together with others.

You have the ability to improve and optimize work methods and processes, are driving in processes, and are good at motivating and arguing for changes.
