The safety of our guests

As a night porter, you may be the first person the guest meets in the morning, or perhaps you are the one checking in tired guests late at night, and it is up to you to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience while staying with us. As a night porter, you are also responsible for safety and ensuring that our guests feel secure while they sleep with us. Here, guests should feel at home, and therefore your personality and social skills are the most important - you must love meeting new people every day and be able to talk to them and provide the best possible service based on their needs.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is ready for a challenge in the autumn of 2025 and onwards. You are a driven and curious person who is not afraid of taking responsibility and initiative. You have no problem working alone and see safety and security as a given. You are comfortable handling many tasks at once and are passionate about providing our guests with the best possible service. You can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. The position requires you to be at least 20 years old, according to current legislation regarding serving responsibilities, as we also serve alcohol. We place great importance on personality, engagement, and drive, so even if you have not worked in a hotel before - do not hesitate to apply if you believe you are our next star.

It is also advantageous if you:

- Have experience in hotel and reception work - Have experience with the hotel system MEWS and/or the cash register system MUNU - Have experience in other service professions, such as retail or restaurant - Have experience in security work, e.g., as a security guard or similar - Enjoy a fast-paced environment and challenges - Are accustomed to working with computers, technical solutions, and systems - Love meeting new people and taking care of their needs and wishes - Speak multiple languages - Have experience with Strawberry or Home Hotel What we offer you:

We offer you the chance to be part of our wonderful team consisting of diverse ages and backgrounds. We provide a varied job where no night is the same and where everyone is equally important to the whole, whether you are cleaning hotel rooms, pouring a beer at the bar, or checking in and welcoming our guests. Your tasks include check-in and check-out, as well as administration, customer service, answering phones and emails, and of course taking care of our guests on-site. During the night, there is a strong focus on safety and security for our guests, but also service when needed. You will also be responsible for bar service and preparing the breakfast buffet. There will also be simpler cleaning tasks and basic reception duties during the night.

Please note that you will be working alone at night - you need to be comfortable being alone on-site and responsible for the safety of hotel guests. About the position:

We are currently offering a need-based employment starting from the end of August 2025 and onwards. There may be opportunities for earlier start dates, so we would like you to be available sooner. Working hours are scheduled at night between 10:15 PM - 7:15 AM. We are covered by the Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union collective agreement, and salary will be set accordingly.
