We agree with WHO, the Public Health Agency, and the government's investigators: we sit too much. Obesity is increasing, and mental health issues like depression are becoming more common. But there is a simple solution that works wonders for both body, heart, and brain – movement! But we need your help!

We are now looking for a Gym Manager at 100% who wants to take responsibility for driving growth for four of our most important gyms in Lyckeby, Jämjö, Nättraby, and Rödeby and develop our leadership in line with our mission and values. 

Your mission 

As a Gym Manager, you have overall responsibility for daily operations, service, and growth and report to the District Manager. You are responsible for ensuring an excellent member experience, coaching and developing your team, and ensuring that the gym is well-maintained. Together with your team of gym hosts, you drive scheduling, staffing, and sales to inspire more people to get moving, but this does not include personnel responsibility. 

You also follow up on group training and personal training in close collaboration with your district manager and group training manager (GTA) as well as the central training manager. Your role is central to the gym's development and success, and you have a holistic perspective that covers everything from daily operations to long-term growth and member satisfaction. Your role will be operationally active where you are close to the member for the best service.  

Please note that working hours will be scheduled during daytime, evening, and weekends. This means that flexibility regarding working hours is a requirement for the position. You are expected to adapt to a varying schedule and be available for work at different times to meet the needs of the business and ensure a high level of service for our members.

You are a natural leader who not only motivates others but also constantly develops yourself and seeks new ways to improve and streamline work. You also have a strong business understanding and the ability to identify growth opportunities, while always putting the members' experience first. 

Requirements: 

• Good ability to work result-oriented with a focus on sales and member satisfaction. 

• Experience in scheduling and personnel planning. 

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Driving license B 

Meritorious:

• Experience working as a team lead, preferably in the fitness, service, or retail industry.

• Experience in leading and coaching staff.
