In the role of care assistant, you work with care and support based on the client's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions and always with a strong focus on quality. You may assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure everyone can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on outings, or finding fun activities to do together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues on a part-time basis for both permanent employment, a 6-month probationary period, and special fixed-term employment at 75% with flexible start dates. Please indicate in your application if you are interested in day or evening shifts.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a care assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• A driving license B and/or the ability to cycle

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in home care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at creating good relationships and being service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
