Business Developer in IT Security

Svenska kraftnät is one of the key players in a sustainable energy transition. Today, we are about 600 people in IT, and we will grow further in the coming years. This is to create conditions for Sweden to double its electricity production and achieve climate goals by completely transitioning to fossil-free energy. To succeed, we will utilize the latest technology to increase the capacity of our infrastructure while accelerating the development pace around systems, digitalization, and processes.

IT security is part of the IT division, where the organization’s collective competence and capability regarding IT security can be found. Our IT security work is conducted both proactively, for example, by supporting projects and management, and reactively in the event of incidents or unwanted events. The department also includes Svenska kraftnät's SOC, which monitors vital parts of the IT environment.

About the Position

In this role, you will be active in the IT security department's work regarding governance, compliance, and business development within the IT security area. You will work with strategy, process, and methodology issues and contribute to the development of internal IT security requirements while managing governing documents regarding IT security within the organization. The role also includes tasks to support the IT security department in implementing relevant frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Business development related to IT security and governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC - Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
• Develop work methodologies for the department's units.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations regarding IT and information security.
• Work with internal IT security requirements and manage and develop governing documents.
• Provide advice and support as well as training initiatives within the area of IT security.

As a business developer in IT security, you are a central person in the work of developing effective governance of the IT security area for an IT environment that is a prerequisite for electricity supply, and ultimately for society to function.

As an employee in the IT security department, it is important to stay well-informed about the current threat landscape and relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the field. There are good opportunities to exchange experiences and knowledge both internally and with external partners in the industry as well as with other authorities. About You

To be successful in this role, we see that you are collaborative and considerate. You are structured and can work according to a clear process while organizing and planning your work well.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, we see that you have education in information security, IT security, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You also have:

• Several years of current and relevant work experience in IT security work.
• Several years of work experience in applying frameworks and standards within the IT and information security area, such as ISO27000, CIS Controls, or NIST Cyber Security Framework.
• Work experience in requirement specification and follow-up within IT and/or information security.
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

We consider it meritorious if you have experience in threat analyses and risk and vulnerability analyses as well as one or more certifications in information and IT security such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or ITIL.
