Svenska kraftnät plays a crucial role in electrifying Sweden and meeting climate goals by doubling electricity production. To tackle future challenges, we are building a robust and innovative infrastructure where our OpenShift platform plays a central role.

We currently have around 600 people in IT and will grow further in the coming years to support Sweden's transition to a fossil-free energy supply. To succeed, we will leverage the latest technology to increase the capacity of our infrastructure while accelerating the development of systems and processes. We are now looking for a Platform Success Engineer – OpenShift for our unit “container technology and operations” to support our internal development teams and help them utilize the platform's full potential.

About the Role

In this role, you will be a key person in supporting our internal development teams and stakeholders in their journey to implement and optimize their solutions on the OpenShift platform. You will act as a bridge between the platform and the teams, helping them to leverage its full potential by combining technical expertise with a pedagogical and customer-oriented approach.

You will work closely with the teams to set up and optimize deployment processes, automate workflows, and support developers with containerization and application optimization. By building relationships and creating long-term value, you will enhance the teams' ability to work independently and create a development environment that promotes efficiency and quality.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Support development teams in integrating their applications and workflows on the OpenShift platform.
• Assist in setting up and optimizing deployment of applications and CI/CD pipelines for the platform.
• Automate installation, deployment, and lifecycle management for applications and the platform.
• Act as a technical advisor and build relationships with stakeholders within Kubernetes and surrounding technologies.
• Focus on knowledge transfer and training to enable development teams to become self-sufficient.

Your Background and Experience

We are looking for someone with technical experience and competence, along with strong communication skills. You are solution-oriented, work in a structured manner, and help development teams become independent. Your curiosity and eagerness to learn keep you updated and enable you to guide teams in leveraging the platform's full potential. These qualities lay the foundation for the good collaboration that is central to our team dynamics. We place great importance on your personal attributes.

Furthermore, we see that you have an education in computer science, system development, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. In addition, you have:

• At least 4 years of technical experience with enterprise Kubernetes solutions, OpenShift, including installation, configuration, and operation of OpenShift clusters.
• Several years of practical experience with DevOps methodology, including CI/CD pipelines and automation of operational processes.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure, networking, and storage needs in medium to large on-premise environments.
• Experience in technical leadership and the ability to explain both technical and non-technical complex concepts to different audiences when implementing container platforms.
• Ability to build long-term relationships with users through training, technical support, troubleshooting, and follow-up.

You are also fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or Red Hat OpenShift Administrator/Developer.
• Experience with tools within the OpenShift ecosystem, such as Helm, Operators, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring as well as experience with data storage such as PostgreSQL and Kafka.
