Product Manager with an eye for both business and regulations

Sunda is a growing company with high ambitions. We create solutions that simplify and improve everyday life for our customers, with sustainability and customer value in focus. We are now looking for a meticulous and business-driven Product Manager who wants to help build our product portfolio.

About the role

As a Product Manager at Sunda, you will have overall responsibility for our products, from idea to finished product in stock. You will lead the development based on trends, customer needs, and business goals, ensuring that each product meets relevant legal requirements, environmental standards, and quality standards. The role is both commercial and technical, and you will work closely with chemists in the factory, but you will bear the overall responsibility for ensuring that our products are safe, correctly labeled, and deliver on our promises.

You will also be responsible for purchasing, supplier contacts, and inventory flows. You will be a key person in a cross-functional collaboration between purchasing, production, marketing, and external experts.

Your mission

• Lead the product development process from idea to launch
• Monitor trends, demand, and customer needs to identify new product opportunities
• Ensure that products comply with legal requirements, environmental standards, and certifications
• Be responsible for purchasing, manufacturing, inventory flows, and logistics
• Collaborate with marketing and the factory to ensure accurate information and communication
• Follow up on the quality, performance, and profitability of the product range

We believe you have

• Post-secondary education in product development, environmental science, chemistry, engineering, or similar
• Experience in product development within consumer products
• Good knowledge of environmental requirements, regulations, and certifications
• Experience in purchasing, manufacturing, and supplier contacts
• Ability to drive projects independently from idea to finished product
• Very good structure, accuracy, and sense of responsibility

Meritorious

• Experience with chemical technical products, cleaning, or hygiene
• Experience with sustainability labels, safety data sheets, and life cycle analyses
