We are now looking for an ambitious and driven Junior Category Manager who wants to work with one of the strongest and broadest ranges of home products in the Nordics.
The Role As a Junior Category Manager at Bygghemma, you share responsibility for sales and profitability for our categories. Together with one of our Category Managers, you will develop some of Bygghemma's main categories in the Norwegian market. You will develop existing and add new products within the categories and ensure that Bygghemma stays at the forefront of the Norwegian market.
This includes continuously evaluating the assortment based on parameters such as profitability and turnover rate. You will work on constantly improving sales by adjusting prices, campaigns, and developing the assortment.
The position is located at Bygghemma's office in central Malmö, where parts of our Norwegian team are also based.
Main Responsibilities;
- Update prices after completed price negotiations with existing suppliers
- Campaign planning and other sales-driving activities both independently and with supplier support
- Analyze and update product and freight pricing
- Bring in new suppliers and work with assortment files
- Competitor monitoring of relevant players
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with new suppliers
The Profile We are looking for someone at the beginning of their career with a strong commercial interest, driven by sales and wanting to develop within a successful group. You should have good analytical skills, good structure, and the ability to understand complex relationships and create a picture of the entire business. You need to be able to establish many good relationships, both internally and externally.
In terms of education, we believe you are an economist or have another academic background. As a person, we see you as ambitious and taking personal ownership of your continued knowledge development. You are a driven doer who thrives in a results-oriented environment.
