Our client is now looking for a Citrix Specialist to strengthen their IT and technology team. In this role, you will be an important part of a dynamic team that works closely with the business to ensure that the organization’s Citrix environments are developed, managed, and optimized in the best possible way.

About the role

As a Citrix Specialist, you will work with both management and further development of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (CVAD) environments in a modern IT environment where security is a priority. You will work with everything from architecture and implementation to operation and troubleshooting of Citrix solutions, including integration with the surrounding Microsoft environment.

As a Citrix Specialist, you will:

• Be responsible for architecture, implementation, operation, and troubleshooting of CVAD environments.
• Manage operating systems such as Windows Server & Desktop and Linux.
• Work with Netscaler ADC and application management (MSI, MSIX, APP-V).
• Contribute to security-enhancing measures and documentation of systems and applications.
• Implement and manage storage solutions (NAS, SAN, iSCSI) and work with thin clients.
• Work with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).

Requirements profile

• You have a university or college degree in computer science or a similar field, or you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience.
• You have solid experience in architecture and implementation of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (CVAD) environments, including associated components.
• Experience in IT infrastructure such as Active Directory, GPO, networking, storage solutions, and smart card authentication.
• Experience with Netscaler ADC for CVAD environments.
• Experience working with geo-redundant solutions for CVAD environments.
• Knowledge of various hypervisors such as VMware ESX, Citrix XenServer, Nutanix AHV, or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experience working with networks, including firewalls, routing, and switching.
• Skills in automation and scripting with PowerShell.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form and have good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing.
