IT Architect at Sopra Steria

About the role:

Sopra Steria, the leading player in digital transformation in the Nordics, is now looking for an experienced IT architect who can be responsible for designing, leading, and quality-assuring the solution architecture in customer projects. You will serve as a central technical advisor in deliveries, transitions, and operational establishments, ensuring that the solutions are not only technically sustainable and secure – but also meet the customer's business needs.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for technical solution design and architecture in projects.
• Lead design processes and requirements management in close collaboration with project managers and technical teams.
• Ensure that solutions meet current functional and security requirements.
• Contribute to the establishment of operational services and migrations of IT environments.
• Act as a technical bridge between business and IT – both internally and externally.
• Drive improvement work within technology, processes, and organization.
• Strengthen internal architecture competence through knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong communication skills and a strategic holistic perspective. We believe you have:

• A university degree in IT, preferably with a focus on operations or system development.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, architecture, or system design.
• Solid experience as a solution architect in larger project environments.
• Experience in transition and migration projects, preferably within the public sector, finance, or health.
• Good knowledge of ITIL, security architecture, and cloud services.
• The ability to structure and document complex solutions.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
