ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for an engaged personal assistant for one of our clients in Sollentuna. The position starts as a temporary job, with the possibility of a permanent schedule of about 50% in the future. The start date is negotiable, but we would like you to begin the introduction as soon as possible.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• Monday–Wednesday 4:30 PM–8:30 PM (shifts on other weekdays may occur as needed)
• Every other weekend, either 8:00 AM–2:00 PM or 2:00 PM–8:30 PM

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful, playful, and active 11-year-old girl who lives in Sollentuna with her family. She has balance and coordination difficulties as well as autism and communicates through gestures, sounds, pictures, and signs as support. As an assistant, you will support her with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, during meal situations, and developing communication. An important part of the job is to create an active and meaningful daily life with activities that she enjoys.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

As a personal assistant in this role, a genuine interest in working with people is required. It is important to be attentive, responsible, patient, and positive. We are looking for someone who retains a childlike spirit, who can stimulate play and learning, and engages in leisure interests such as swimming and sports. The role of a personal assistant involves significant responsibility and requires respect for both the client's and the family's privacy. The client prefers only female assistants.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Non-smoker
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• A background check for working with children with disabilities is required

PREFERABLE

• Previous experience as a personal assistant to children
• Experience working with autistic individuals
• Pedagogical skills
• Knowledge of TAKK (signs as alternative and complementary communication)
