We are looking for personal assistants during the summer for a man in his 70s in Järna

Are you engaged, caring, and want to make a difference in someone's daily life? We are now looking for personal assistants for a pleasant man in his 70s who lives with his wife in a villa in central Järna. He has MS and impaired speech and uses assistive devices, and it is very important that the work includes training to maintain and improve his function. We are looking for summer substitutes that may lead to a position in the future. We work shifts. Start immediately. Double staffing at certain times during training during the day; otherwise, it is independent work.

About the client:

• Needs help with all care as well as during transfers.
• Is interested in cooking and enjoys being in the kitchen.
• Likes to be outdoors in the garden and enjoy nature.
• Enjoys going on excursions and experiencing new environments.

Job responsibilities:

• Provide support and assistance in daily activities with a focus on training and function.
• Assist with cooking and other interests.
• Help with excursions and outdoor activities.
• Provide support during transfers and personal care.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in personal assistance and is used to working independently.
• Is confident and experienced in working with individuals with neurological diseases such as MS.
• Is positive, flexible, and has a genuine interest in helping others.
• Can work with a focus on training and maintaining the client's function.
• Can document and speak fluently in Swedish.

Working hours: The working hours are scheduled for day/evening/weekend, on-call shifts may occur as needed.

Salary: The hourly wage is fixed according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Start date: According to agreement.
