We are looking for a project manager and coordinator who can drive procurements within RIS/PACS/VNA with a focus on requirements specification and act as a feasibility study leader for the procurement of LIS for a healthcare organization.

RIS/PACS/VNA The current solution for RIS/PACS/VNA needs to be put out to tender during 2025–2026 as the existing agreements either expire or have become outdated. The assignment includes, among other things:

• Analyzing different approaches to procurement, such as direct procurement or preliminary insight, and suggesting appropriate operational forms.
• Conducting market surveillance and market analysis to map alternatives.
• Inventory and document dependencies between today's RIS/PACS/VNA systems and other IT/MT systems within the organization.
• As the feasibility study is resource-intensive, there is a need for a dedicated project manager who can drive the process forward and facilitate the work for the affected operations, which in turn can shorten lead times.
• Continuously document results and report to an appointed steering group.
• Lead the requirements specification work in collaboration with departments such as radiology, thoracic center, dental care, clinical physiology, and other units using VNA.

LIS

The existing laboratory information system (LIS) for clinical chemistry (Labka) and clinical pathology/cytology (Analytix) needs to be put out to tender during 2025–2026 as the agreements either expire or are outdated.

Scope of the assignment:

• Analyze the pros and cons of introducing a common multidisciplinary system for both clinical chemistry and clinical pathology/cytology, including benefit calculations and risk and vulnerability analyses.
• Evaluate different approaches to procurement, such as direct procurement or preliminary insight, and suggest appropriate operational forms.
• Conduct market surveillance and market analysis to map relevant actors and solutions.
• Inventory and document dependencies between the current LIS and other IT and medical technology systems within the organization.
• As the feasibility study is resource-intensive, there is a need for a dedicated project manager who can drive the process forward, facilitate for the operations, and shorten lead times.
• Ensure that results are documented continuously and reported to an appointed steering group.
• Lead requirements specification work in close collaboration with the departments within clinical chemistry, pathology, and IT.

Desired competence profile

• Documented experience in procurements, with particular knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LoU).
• Experience in procuring and/or working with systems such as RIS, PACS, and VNA.
• Knowledge in laboratory medicine and related IT systems is an advantage.

Desirable requirements

• Previous experience of similar procurements in other regions.
