Role:

As a Category Specialist, you will play a central role in supporting the purchasing organization with supplier relationships and contract management. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that everything from machinery procurement to delivery and follow-up runs smoothly. You will be part of a team that values quality, careful planning, and sustainability, where your work contributes to efficient and responsible purchasing processes.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and develop supplier relationships

• Be responsible for contract negotiations and ensure business agreements

• Ensure that suppliers receive correct and up-to-date information

• Follow up on deliveries and manage any deviations

• Collaborate closely with technical and project teams to achieve set goals

We are looking for someone who

Is structured, engaged, and communicative, and who thrives in a role where you can combine analysis, negotiation, and collaboration. You are confident in driving processes forward and have the ability to build long-term relationships.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience in contract negotiations and supplier management

• A background in machinery procurement or technical purchasing

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Practical details:

Assignment period: October 20, 2025 – June 30, 2026

Location: Karlskrona (main location) or Malmö

Extent: Full-time 100%
