We are currently seeking a contract manager with a background in the Armed Forces and experience in meal, restaurant, or service operations, who wants to take on significant responsibility in one of Nordrest's most important contracts.

About the role

As Contract Manager for Defense, you will have overall customer responsibility for Nordrest's defense contract in southern Sweden. You will ensure a stable, qualitative, and business-oriented delivery according to agreements, requirements, and agreed processes. The role is a key position and serves as the link between the Armed Forces and our internal operations organization.

The focus is on trust, delivery reliability, and continuous improvement. You will report to the Business Manager for Defense and work closely with both the customer and the organization.

Your main responsibilities

• Overall customer responsibility towards the Armed Forces • Ensure that delivery occurs according to agreements, requirements, and established quality levels • Prepare and participate in customer meetings, follow-ups, and reviews • Be the main contact person for the Armed Forces' catering representatives and ordering planners • Support and ensure consensus on contract issues together with local units • Participate in market councils to contribute to the overall picture of the collaboration and the development of the contract

We are looking for someone who

• Is a Swedish citizen and resides in southern Sweden • Has experience from the Armed Forces • Has a good understanding of the Armed Forces' organization, culture, and decision-making processes • Has experience in restaurant, meal, or service operations • Is accustomed to working systematically with agreements, follow-ups, and quality

Meritorious

• Experience from the public sector or other critical societal operations • Familiarity with environments with high demands for security, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance • Experience in improvement work across multiple units

To succeed in this role, you are trustworthy, secure, and clear in your dialogue with the customer. You combine business acumen with operational understanding and take responsibility all the way. You work independently but value collaboration, are solution-oriented, and act with high integrity.
