The Mark Workshops (MvE) are a unit belonging to the regiment within the Army Staff. We perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' ground equipment and air base equipment, and deliver technical system support. This involves maintenance in the form of supervision, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scraping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment inspection. The Mark Workshop unit delivers services according to customer requirements.

You will belong to Mark Workshop South, which operates in Revingehed, Ronneby, Karlskrona, and Tofta. Together, we are approximately 180 employees.

Main Responsibilities

As a productive spare parts technician with team coordinator duties, you will work with spare parts preparation. You will ensure and quality-assure the basis for spare parts orders, determine whether spare parts should be procured via internal or external parties, and coordinate, lead, and distribute the daily work within the work team based on directives specified by your nearest manager and the operational management system (VHL).

You will initiate, monitor, and close customer orders in our support systems. The work also includes tracking and ordering equipment, handling goods, general warehouse management, and stock care. Daily work consists of ordering and issuing spare parts, receiving goods/equipment, and continuous follow-up and inventory.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • At least a completed two- or three-year upper secondary education in vehicle technology, logistics, warehousing, or other education/competence acquired through professional experience that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Experience in logistics or spare parts management.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Category B driver's license.

As a spare parts team coordinator, you are structured, make correct assessments, and prioritize effectively. We are looking for someone who is meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards. Furthermore, you are flexible and can easily shift your focus and adapt to a changing environment.

Merits

  • We would prefer that you have some form of leadership training.
  • Experience in working in a supervisory role.
  • Swedish Armed Forces mechanic training as a spare parts man or on any vehicle system.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of workshop operations and equipment maintenance in the Swedish Armed Forces.
  • Forklift license.
  • High computer proficiency and good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel).
  • Experience working in the SAP system PRIO.

Other

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period.

Working hours: Full-time, daytime – varying working hours may occur.

Work location: Mark Workshop South/Ronneby.

Start date: As soon as possible after agreement.

The work also entails requirements for travel and duty, both domestic and international.

The position is a civilian post. Work with hardening plastics may occur at the Mark Workshop.
