About the Role
As a Technical Procurement Assistant, you will work as a consultant via Jefferson Wells at one of our clients – a leading player in the high-tech industry. This is a staffing assignment with good opportunities to transition into direct employment with the client in the long term.

In this role, you work at the intersection of technology and procurement. You play a vital part in ensuring correct item data and material selection, acting as a support to buyers on technical matters related to suppliers and production prerequisites.

You will analyze technical documentation, manage material data in systems, and contribute to cost-effective purchasing. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, designers, and buyers across various projects.

You will report to the Section Manager for Technical Procurement Support.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Create and maintain procurement items in the material catalog
• Ensure that mandatory attributes are correctly registered
• Generate and manage purchase requisitions based on system and project needs
• Consolidate purchases to achieve cost-effective solutions
• Procure materials for projects with long-term delivery plans (forecast purchasing)
• Support buyers with technical expertise in dialogues with suppliers
• Contribute to collaboration between internal functions and project teams

Your Profile
To succeed in this role, we look for someone with a structured work approach who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are self-motivated, meticulous, and have strong planning skills.

You collaborate easily and build good relationships with both colleagues and external partners. Furthermore, you have a technical interest and enjoy working with details and analysis.

We are looking for someone who has

• 3–8 years of experience in a relevant field
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of the Office package

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience in spare parts procurement (technology and purchasing)
• Knowledge of different material types
• Relevant educational background
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Points of Contact
In this role, you will have a broad network:

• Internal: buyers, designers, technicians, project managers, material planners, etc.
• External: suppliers and partners
