Your Role

As an operational purchaser, you will be responsible for ensuring materials and sometimes services meet the operational needs through daily order placement. You will manage order registration and follow up on deliveries. The role involves close collaboration with other purchasers, suppliers, and internal departments to maintain efficient material flows, minimize disruptions, and contribute to cost-effectiveness and high service levels.

• Place and administer purchase orders in the business system
• Follow up on deliveries and ensure delivery
• Manage order confirmations
• Follow up on deliveries and minimize disruptions

Your Profile

For this position, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented, solution-focused, and takes responsibility for their tasks. Since the job involves a lot of administration, you need to be structured and meticulous. You will have many contacts both internally and externally, so it is also important that you have good communication and collaboration skills.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a good ability to solve problems and enjoy working on multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously. We see that you are self-driven and take initiative in your work, as well as have the ability to see opportunities rather than obstacles.

Requirements

• High school education (preferably with vocational training/university in purchasing, logistics, or economics)
• Experience in administrative work
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
