We are now looking for two support workers to join our team at Herrgårdsvägen in Danderyd. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The positions are part-time, both approximately 80% About the Herrgårdsvägen group home
The Herrgårdsvägen group home is located about 1.5 km from Mörby center. It is a detached villa in a quiet area with its own garden. We have six places, all currently occupied. The residents are placed from the social psychiatry of Danderyd municipality. It is a small work group with close supervision from both the group manager and the operations manager.
We work during days, evenings, weekends, and have sleeping on-call duty in the operation.
It is important for us that you have experience in psychiatry, enjoy collaborating with your colleagues, and that you have good initiative and are willing to try new paths.
Another strength we value is your ability to play a significant and positive role for our residents. Therefore, we see that you work motivationally while considering the individual's self-determination, finding solutions and activities that suit our residents, and working with pedagogy, low-arousal responses, and sharing your experiences and knowledge in a good feedback culture.
We work with MI and ESL (an independent life).
It is an advantage if you have previously been a contact person and worked independently with writing and following up on implementation plans and worked with goal setting and follow-up of goals together with residents and caseworkers.
For us, it is crucial that you are a certified nursing assistant or have equivalent education according to the National Board of Health and Welfare. We would prefer if you have focused on psychiatry during your education.
About the role In the role of support worker, you will start from the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call duty.
You will have a group leader or group manager close to you who works part of their time in the operation. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.
Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our users' best interests in mind in everything you do.
At Nytida, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.
What you will get with us:
- Basic training when you are permanently employed within Nytida and competence development through our own educational organization Lära
- Benefits portal with discounts and offers
- Leadership-trained managers close to you
- A common pedagogy to provide the best care and support to our care recipients
- Career and development opportunities
- Wellness allowance and shoe allowance
