Workshop Worker/Welder – Greater Gothenburg

About the role

As a workshop worker/welder, you will play an important role in the manufacturing of metal constructions and components. You will work with welding (MIG, MAG, TIG, MMA) according to drawings and quality requirements, as well as with assembly and quality measurement of finished products. The role also involves maintenance of equipment and active participation in keeping the workplace safe and organized.

Your tasks

 • Welding according to drawings and specifications  • Assembly of metal constructions  • Quality control and measurement of products  • Work according to instructions, drawings, and safety procedures  • Actively contribute to a good work environment and order according to 5S

Your profile

We are looking for someone with welding experience, preferably with certification according to ISO 9606. You are accustomed to reading drawings and have a good understanding of workshop measurement techniques. To succeed in this role, you need to be meticulous, responsible, and have good physical ability.

• Certified welding competence or equivalent experience  • Good understanding of drawings and measurement techniques  • Craftsmanship accuracy and safety awareness  • Forklift and/or overhead crane license (meritorious)  • Swedish in speech and writing, English is a plus
