About the Company
The foundation of Landqvist Mekaniska was established back in 1929 in the form of a local blacksmith shop. Since the late 1950s, a large part of the business has consisted of contract manufacturing within industries such as shipbuilding, paper, and automotive. Today, the company works with about 20 customers across Sweden and also engages in some export. Our products are found in a wide range of sectors including forklifts, transport handling, boats, process industry, and more.
With over 70 years of experience in metal processing for the industry, automotive, and construction sectors, we have gained extensive experience in machining. Our cornerstones are the use of modern technology combined with skilled and motivated personnel. This ensures that we can offer our customers what they expect from us in terms of quality, delivery reliability, and fair pricing.
Located just outside Nossebro, we employ just over 30 staff in various roles and responsibilities.
Job Description
Are you a meticulous and technically skilled person with experience in sheet metal processing? We are now looking for a press brake operator who wants to be an important part of our team!
As a press brake operator, you will work with sheet metal processing, with press braking being your primary focus. You will be responsible for programming your machine, which requires technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Another central part of your role is reading technical drawings, which is essential for accurate and efficient work.
Your main responsibilities:
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings
- Programming the press brake machine
- Sheet metal processing
Qualifications
We are looking for a technical, quality-conscious, and meticulous person. You have an interest in industrial technology work and a desire to develop. If you also have a good ability to work both independently and in a team, this position will suit you perfectly! If you have worked for a few years with press braking, you will quickly adapt to your role.
Important for the position:
- Industrial technical education or equivalent knowledge
- Previous experience in reading technical drawings
- Forklift license and driving experience
- Experience with press brakes is an advantage
