Siemens Energy develops and manufactures world-leading gas turbines for a global market. In Trollhättan, combustion chambers for gas turbines are manufactured, specializing in the production of parts made from stainless steel, alloys, and heat-resistant materials.

Your Responsibilities

You will primarily work with manual TIG welding of combustion chambers for SGT 600 & 700. Common tasks also include measuring, assembly, sheet metal work, fixture handling, etc. You will document your work according to applicable quality requirements.

The working hours are on a 2-shift schedule:

• Morning shift: Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 14:00

• Afternoon shift: Monday – Thursday, 14:00 – 23:30

Your Profile

We are now looking for someone with experience in TIG welding who is accustomed to working according to high quality standards. You will perform the work independently according to drawings with high quality demands, so it is important that you have a good understanding of reading technical drawings. The ability to read, write, and understand Swedish is a requirement, as our detailed work instructions are a central part of our daily work and crucial for ensuring high quality in everything we do.

We place great importance on your personal qualities and your attitude towards work. To succeed in this role, you should be a team player who enjoys collaborating with your colleagues. Furthermore, you are good at planning your work to meet agreed deadlines. As a person, you are meticulous and solve problems that arise, either on your own or together with your colleagues.

It is advantageous if you have forklift and overhead crane licenses.
