Your Role

As an assembler at Saab Surveillance in Gothenburg, you will be involved in producing and servicing world-leading radar systems. You will become part of our manufacturing team responsible for Giraffe 1X production. Here, we work with everything from spare parts and repairs to complete radar systems.

Your role includes tasks such as:

• Manufacturing of cabling, cassettes, and assembly of mechanics
• Some incoming inspection and testing
• Some inventory management
• Connection/assembly of complete radar systems/final inspection until handover to system testing
• Actively reading and understanding drawings and documents in Swedish and English
• Document management and deviation handling within the existing process
• Contributing to continuous improvements in the areas of quality, delivery, and economy
• Customer contact may be included
• Clearly communicating the status of the work for the units you are responsible for
• Contact points are primarily planning, production technology, and measurement technology. But also project management and design

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in electronics manufacturing, both at the component and unit level. We have high demands for fine motor skills, endurance, and precision, and we prefer candidates with a technical education/background.

Your personal qualities are important as collaboration and your ability to be receptive within the organization allow us to grow as a group. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who is meticulous and good at working independently, and who is proactive in their areas of responsibility. You also have a good ability to handle constant changes in workflow and find it easy to communicate.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.

The role belongs to the IF Metall agreement area.
