Summer Job at Scan in Skara

We are now looking for engaged and responsible summer substitutes for Scans production facility in Skara during the period of June-August 2026. With us, you will gain valuable experience within one of Sweden's largest food productions. We are best known for our brands Scan, Pärsons, and Bullens. As a summer substitute, you may work with packaging meat and charcuterie products, manufacturing, forklift driving, loading, unloading, and other terminal work.

As a summer substitute at Scan, you will also receive benefits such as wellness grants and discounted meat and charcuterie products in one of our staff stores. We are looking for someone who is prepared for physically demanding work and can work 8 weeks during the summer. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and are used to maintaining a high pace while being mindful of both quality and safety. We place great importance on your personal qualities and value teamwork and self-drive. Previous experience in industrial or food work and/or having a forklift license and experience is considered an advantage. Age limit due to working time regulations and the physically demanding nature of the work.

What you can expect from us:

As a summer substitute, you will be welcomed into a team with a responsible production leader. During your initial time with us, we will train you in safety, quality, and hygiene. The position is full-time. Working hours vary depending on the department. The most common is shift work (one week daytime and the other week evening), but night shifts may also occur.

Scan values a good working environment, which is why health checks and random alcohol and drug tests may occur before and during your employment.

The summer job period for 2026 starts in week 24 or week 25 and extends until week 33 or week 34 (depending on the department), and we prefer that you can work the entire period, 8 weeks.
