Our client specializes in advanced sheet metal processing, including laser cutting, bending, machining, welding, and assembly. With over 120 years of experience in the field, their passion for sheet metal is deeply rooted in their operations. Through continuous investments, they have developed solid expertise in materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and black steel.

The tasks often involve working towards clear, measurable goals, which demands a focus on results and structure. You have good knowledge of reading technical drawings. A technical interest and a high degree of quality awareness are also important traits for this position. 

As a laser operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and setting up the machine for mechanical processing of metals. Using the machine, you will manufacture metal components that are part of the workshop production. The machine is programmed based on drawings and CAD/CAM data.

Your main tasks include:

• Setup and monitoring of laser and punching machines
• Control measurement of components to ensure high quality
• Material handling and preparation for processing
• Troubleshooting and basic maintenance of machines
• Collaborating with production staff to optimize flow

• Industrial background
• Previous experience as a laser/punch operator or equivalent competence
• Ability to set up machines independently
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Driver's license and access to a car
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
