Hourly Assistant Wanted

We are currently looking for an hourly assistant to strengthen the workgroup for our client. He lives in the countryside, so it is required that you have a driver's license and access to your own car.

You will be part of a positive team around him, where you will work in pairs during certain shifts. He has assistance around the clock. The client has autism and uses visual support, so clarity and focus on the client are very important in the work. He enjoys music, baking/cooking, puzzles, and going for walks.

Role and Experience of the Assistant

You need to be meticulous, responsible, attentive, proactive, and positive. You should have your own drive and a genuine desire to make each day valuable. You are a positive and secure person who looks long-term at the work as a personal assistant. We are looking for someone with some experience in care or educational work. Personal qualities and chemistry are more important. We prefer male applicants at the client's request.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours as we in the workgroup solve staffing if someone gets sick or is on vacation – we support our client and each other.

Desirable Experiences

• Experience working with individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
• Experience communicating through visual support.
• Experience with low-arousal responses.
• Driver's license and access to a car.
• Non-smoker.

Working Hours/Employment Rate

• Start according to agreement.
• Hourly employment, extra as needed with the possibility of a smaller position in the future.
• Double assistance may occur.
• Varied shifts: Day, evening, night, weekend.
