Our business unit delivers turnkey transformer and distribution stations to regional and local network owners as a general contractor.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a project manager, you will be responsible for executing projects from calculation to completion according to a set project process. The projects vary in size and complexity, ranging from 0.3 to 100 million in revenue, and you will be responsible for executing the projects with both in-house employees and external subcontractors. The projects, which are general contracts, can be located throughout Sweden, but primarily in Norrland.

As a project manager, you are fully responsible for the financial outcome, which is continuously monitored. You will have a controller to support you in tracking and reporting.

Your main responsibilities include:

• The financial results with ongoing monitoring.
• The technical progress of the projects and optimal planning; procurement of materials and services.
• Ensuring that project deliveries are made with the right quality, at the right time, and at calculated costs.
• Identifying, analyzing, and managing risks that may affect the success of the project, as well as reviewing measures and follow-up.
• Invoicing.
• Ongoing dialogue with clients and subcontractors.

As a project manager, you will report to the business unit manager within Omexom in Umeå. The position is based in Östersund, Umeå, or Örnsköldsvik, with the possibility of hybrid work. Travel is required.

YOUR PROFILE

To be successful in the role of project manager, we see that you have a completed university degree in electrical engineering or similar, or a minimum of a high school education in technology. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of the Office suite, as well as a valid driver's license (B).

It is a requirement that you have experience with larger construction projects, contract law, and public procurement. Furthermore, it is a requirement that you have experience in the role of BAS P/U.

Initially, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced project managers to gradually grow into the role.

You communicate clearly and effectively with your stakeholders and lead your project team with great commitment towards set goals. Furthermore, you are flexible in your working style, resilient to stress, and can manage "many balls in the air" with good structure.
