JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

Vattenfall Services' customers include energy and grid companies, industries, infrastructure companies, real estate companies, and contracting companies. The position involves designing electrical constructions for transformer stations, grid stations, and hydropower stations. This can include everything from control systems, local power, relay protection, etc. You will work together in projects with project managers and other designers in electrical, mechanical, and automation.

They also work with service and maintenance of communication and control system equipment on distribution, regional, and trunk networks. As an electrical designer at Vattenfall Services, you will work with electrical construction in projects of varying sizes. The work includes everything from redrawing and updating documentation to new constructions. Here are examples of tasks/responsibilities that may be included depending on your current technical experience:

• Establish complete electrical constructions
• Design adaptations
• Facility design in CAD environment
• Control and redrawing of existing drawings
• If necessary, take on the role of design leader for projects

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have several years of work experience in electrical power facilities and scheduling
• Have a post-secondary electrical power education or equivalent work experience in electrical power
• Experience working with electrical power facilities 20-400 kV
• You have good knowledge of ElprocCAD and/or Elmaster, or similar electrical design tools
• Possess good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Have a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Knowledge of relay protection philosophy, configuration, and experience in a CAD-based environment
• Experience mentoring junior electrical designers
