As a Technical Coordinator Electrical, you will work within the Property unit, which is part of the Digitalization and Service business area. The Property unit is responsible for the region's local supply, including both strategy and implementation of operations and maintenance, as well as renovation and new construction within the region's property portfolio. The property portfolio amounts to approximately 630,000 m2 distributed across the county. Currently, there are about 90 employees within the Property unit. The Technical Coordinator group is mainly stationed in Umeå but has a county-wide responsibility. The other areas, besides electrical, include HVAC, Control, Energy, Gas, Technical Documentation, and Construction.

Your tasks

The assignment as Technical Coordinator Electrical is county-wide and aims to create alignment regarding our electrical systems, backup power, high and low voltage switchgear, and UPS systems.

You will work closely with other technical coordinators to develop the best overall solution from an operational, energy, and robustness perspective. This includes developing technical guidelines, creating a long-term plan for preventive maintenance, and identifying needs for new investments. The assignment includes participating in projects, reviewing documents, and providing technical support to our operations engineers and property technicians.

The role includes responsibility for the company's regulatory compliance and authorization as an electrical contractor within Region Västerbotten. You will also be the electrical facility manager for all properties within Region Västerbotten. This means ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, directives, agreements, and internal instructions.

Your background/Your qualities

We are looking for someone with a university degree in electrical power engineering or equivalent knowledge deemed comparable by the employer. The position requires low voltage authorization, AL. Experience with high voltage, backup power, and UPS systems is an advantage.

You have good computer skills and a solid understanding of system architecture. As a person, you are driven and engaged, with the ability to work strategically and long-term. You see the big picture and can convey it to others. Understanding the entirety of systems and how they interact is second nature to you. You have good experience in working with technical investigations and possess strong technical knowledge but can also communicate this effectively in writing and verbally.

You are accustomed to setting goals and working towards them. You have good collaboration skills and work just as well independently as with others.

A valid driver's license and good oral and written skills in Swedish are required for the position. Personal qualities will be given significant weight.
