We believe that revolutionizing how we handle food waste is a good start. Motatos takes surplus goods produced by companies and sells them online at affordable prices to customers.

Motatos is already present in Denmark, and under the name Matsmart in Sweden and Finland. We were founded in 2014 in Stockholm.

- As Category Manager FMCG / Food (m/f/d), you are responsible for purchasing our shop assortment

- You manage our key accounts in your product group and strengthen our relationships with our existing partners

- You acquire new suppliers and gain additional brand partners for strategic collaboration

- You expand our network at decision-maker level in the food industry and intensify collaboration with our existing partners

- Based on historical data and KPIs, you optimize your purchasing decisions and continuously improve our results

- Together with our merchandising team, you develop and expand our assortment strategy

- You have at least 2 years of experience in purchasing / category management with consumer goods, ideally in the area of flash sales/overstocks

- Negotiation skills and communication are your absolute strengths and part of your DNA

- You enjoy approaching people and building new partnerships

- You possess excellent analytical skills

- You speak fluent German and English

- Previous knowledge and experience in the food / FMCG or e-commerce sector is a plus
