We are now looking for newly graduated nurses for our operations!

Your Responsibilities

Within Umeå Municipality, you will work as a nurse with health and medical care interventions, manage medications, document, make assessments, and guide other staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that the medical interventions work well for our users and coordinate contacts with doctors and other professionals within primary care and hospitals.

About You

We are looking for someone who has graduated as a nurse within the last year. We would prefer you to have experience working in care and nursing, but it is not a requirement.

As a nurse in the municipality, you and your nursing colleagues have the highest medical competence. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy taking responsibility, have good initiative, and contribute to good communication in collaboration with other professionals. Of course, you have a good and respectful approach in contact with care recipients and relatives.

The job requires you to have a B driver's license. Favorable working hours, daytime, and sparse weekend duties (every 6th week).

Patients living in care and nursing homes may have pets, and smoking may occur.

Other Information

The employment form will initially be a fixed-term contract and then a temporary position over the summer. Fixed-term employment, full-time, starting by agreement until 2025-09-28 with the possibility of extension.
