ABOUT THE JOB

Are you 16 or 17 years old and looking for a meaningful job this summer? Do you want a job this summer where you can contribute to a higher quality of life for citizens in Lycksele Municipality? Then do not hesitate to send us your application! Support, care, and welfare have two areas seeking young people for summer jobs – home care and special housing. In your application, you can express interest in working in one or both areas.

The tasks will include social interventions such as companionship, reading newspapers, cleaning, etc. Working hours will be scheduled during the day, considering the regulations of the Work Environment Authority for young people. You will always work alongside regular staff.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who turns 16 during 2025 and has completed their compulsory schooling. We consider it an advantage if you are studying in a care and welfare program or a corresponding education that the employer deems equivalent, but the most important thing for us is that you have an interest and commitment to work with people and support them in their daily lives.

As a person, you are good at listening, understanding, and empathizing with others and their needs. You will be in daily contact with many people such as users, relatives, and staff, which requires a good approach and good collaboration skills. Working with people means an exciting and changing everyday life, and therefore we believe that you can easily adapt and prioritize tasks according to current conditions. ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

Duration: Summer substitute June – August.
Scope: approx. 6 hours/day or by agreement (but no more than 30 hours/week)
Start: By agreement.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
