About Villa Siggbo

Villa Siggbo is a special accommodation located in Tierp. The facility has 6 departments spread over 3 floors, with about 10 residents in each department. We have 2 departments focused on individuals with dementia, 3 departments for individuals with somatic care needs, and 1 department focused on psychogeriatrics.

About the role

As a physiotherapist, you will be part of a team with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff. Together, your task is to enhance quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs.

In the role of physiotherapist, you will work with residents to find the best ways to utilize their own abilities in daily life. You will support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their mobility. This often involves:

• assessing/treating residents' movement problems and disabilities
• prescribing and fitting medical aids
• working preventively by educating other staff on transfer techniques to avoid strain injuries.
