About the Position

The client is a woman in her 45s with ALS who lives with her son and cat in an apartment in central Nykvarn. She lacks verbal speech and uses an eye-controlled computer to communicate.

A large part of her life is dedicated to rehab, watching sports, and spending time with her son. Therefore, it would be great if you share her interest in sports (mainly football!), but it is not a requirement, just a bonus!

The job as an assistant is to be her extended arms and legs, but it is very important to understand that you work as a team together. Therefore, personal chemistry is extremely important for smooth and effective collaboration. You will work alone during your shifts, but it is still important to have a team spirit as you may need to support your colleagues during unplanned or planned absences. Who are you? You who are applying for the position are a woman, and you should be social, cheerful, and positive. You are meticulous, responsible, and structured, and have the ability to listen to others and understand your role in a family situation. It is also important that you are honest, enjoy working, and can create a positive atmosphere around you. You should like children as they are present in the home. You should also be non-pet-allergic, as there is a cat in the home. It is important that you do not have any back problems or similar issues as there will be some transfers involved. You should have great empathy, patience, and the ability to put yourself in another person's situation and be very attentive. It is important that you understand that you have a supporting role and that your client who has personal assistance has the main role.

Working Hours and Employment Rate:

We are looking for people who can step in during vacancies, both for daytime, evening, and night shifts (awake night).

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start Date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.
